Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone! Last year at this time, Shawn and I were in sunny, warm, wonderful Jamaica! This is one of the Christmas trees in the main building of our resort. We wanted to make our first Christmas together a particularly memorable one, so we thought Christmas Day would be the perfect day to go climb Dunn's River Falls! This is a well-known waterfall that wasn't far from our hotel. It's about 600 feet high, and it ends on the beach, with the fresh water pouring into the ocean. What's really unique about it, though, is that the rock under the waterfall is primarily limestone, which doesn't get very slippery when wet. So you can literally climb up the falls...as in, through the water (not next to it).

So here are a few pictures of our first Christmas together!
